Refund Policy
Effective July 2026
14-day money back, no questions asked
If you are not happy with COI Shield, email us within 14 days of a payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask you to sit through a call first. This covers your first payment on a plan and every renewal after it, monthly or annual.
Before you pay
Every account starts with a 7-day free trial that needs no card, so you can upload real certificates and see how the checks behave before any money changes hands. If the trial does not convince you, simply do not subscribe.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Settings, and cancelling stops all future charges immediately. Your account keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. If you cancel more than 14 days into a period, that period is not refunded — but you will never be billed again.
Annual plans
An annual plan is refunded in full inside the first 14 days. After that, if something changes on your side mid-year — you sell the business, a project ends, the tool stops fitting — write to us anyway. We would rather refund the unused months than keep money from someone who is not using the product.
If we get it wrong
If the service was unavailable, lost your documents, or you were charged in error or after cancelling, the 14-day window does not apply. Tell us what happened and we will make it right regardless of how much time has passed.
How to request a refund
Email support@coi-shield.com from the address on the account and say you would like a refund. We reply within two business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have under applicable consumer or commercial law.
